1. What This Website Is
Cass County Criminal History is an independent reference resource. It neither stores official criminal records nor performs official background checks, record corrections, or government filings.
Its content points readers to Cass County courts, the Sheriff's Office, Michigan State Police CJIC, MDOC, the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry, and other official custodians. Public agency access is governed in part by Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231 et seq., court rules, and MCL 28.242.

- Interfere with performance or another visitor's access
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Registry or criminal-record information cannot be used to intimidate, threaten, stalk, harass, or discriminate. Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry data exists for safety awareness, not vigilantism. Misuse may violate criminal or civil law.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
No consumer report, credit report, or background screening report is created here. Visitors must not use website or linked-tool information for credit, employment, housing, insurance, licensing, benefits, or another determination regulated by the FCRA. An authorized official channel or compliant consumer reporting agency must be used when the law requires one.

Criminal records can change after filing, dismissal, correction, sealing, or set-aside. Only the originating office can confirm an official current record.
